Our Work with the Department of Defense
LUKE enjoys a successful collaboration with the Department of Defense (DoD) through the Defense Health Agency’s (DHA) Medical Q-Coded Services (MQS) program. Securing over 200 task orders so far within this five-year multiple award ID/IQ contract, LUKE’s involvement extends until 2025.
Our core responsibilities encompass recruiting, qualifying, hiring, onboarding, and retaining proficient medical personnel, tailored to meet the specific needs of each Medical Treatment Facility. With a stellar reputation for excellence in healthcare staffing solutions, LUKE provides high-performing recruiting, training, and credentialing experts. Our continued performance on the DHA MQS project highlights our vital contributions to delivering on the promise of quality healthcare for the military and their families, cementing our role as a crucial partner for the DoD.
Our Work for the Department of Homeland Security
LUKE is a reliable provider of caregiver and monitor services for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), specifically within the Laredo, Rio Grande Valley, and Del Rio sectors. This critical work, focused on assisting unaccompanied minors in these regions, will continue through 2026. LUKE’s bilingual support has played an important role in bridging communication gaps and offering compassionate aid to vulnerable individuals, aligning perfectly with DHS’s mission to safeguard the nation’s borders.
Several of our leaders including LUKE CEO John Sanders, former Acting Commissioner of Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and LUKE VP Of Government Programs Carla Provost, former Chief of the Border Patrol, bring a wealth of knowledge and a profound level and care and empathy to support the CBP’s unique challenges. This expertise positions LUKE to provide innovative solutions and continuous improvement to enhance DHS operations and make an invaluable contribution to homeland security efforts.
Our Work with the Department of Veterans Affairs
LUKE, through its joint venture, Aspire-LUKE JV, LLC is honored to have been awarded a 10-year, $23B IDIQ contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs. This contract is part of the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Integrated Critical Staffing Program (ICSP) which aims to provide the best value in health professional temporary clinical and non-clinical staffing services, program management, human capital, and other professional services. These efforts are crucial to fill critical staffing needs and to fulfill vital program requirements across VA sites of care nationwide. LUKE is proud to support this essential program to care for our veterans.
